To start working with the Designer Toolkit classes, first download and unzip the flash projects download at the bottom of this page. (The download includes caurina tweener and util.as) If you don’t use the download, please follow the instructions below:
First create a new folder which will hold all your flash projects (your .fla’s) – for example flash projects. Within flash projects add a new folder named com and within the com folder add a new folder named dtk within which all the Designers Toolkit custom classes are stored. Also, add folders named text, xml and images in the flash projects folder. These will be required for some of the custom classes to be introduced in the near future.
Some of the Designers Toolkit classes rely on a free tweening library called Tweener which can be downloaded at http://code.google.com/p/tweener/downloads/list (make sure you download version tweener_1_33_74_as3.zip). The unzipped folder named caurina must be placed in the flash projects folder.
